Santuario di Montallegro

A Renaissance votive church from 1557, situated at 612 meters above sea level above Rapallo and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. A cable car from the city center leads to the sanctuary, and from the terraces in front of the church there is a panoramic view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Portofino, and the surrounding hills.
