Scottish Parliament Building

A contemporary building housing the Scottish Parliament, located opposite the Palace of Holyroodhouse and at the foot of Arthur's Seat. It was designed by Catalan architect Enric Miralles and is recognized for its unusual combination of concrete, granite, steel, and organic forms. The building is of great interest to visitors drawn to contemporary architecture and the political history of Scotland.
