Natural volcanic pools on the northern coast of Madeira, located in the village of Seixal. Many visitors consider them more beautiful and peaceful than the more popular pools in Porto Moniz. Black lava rock, crystal-clear sea water, and panoramic views of the Atlantic coast make them one of the most stunning swimming spots on the island.
The natural pools are free of charge and accessible throughout the year, but are most beautiful in calm weather. Caution is advised during strong waves, and visiting in the morning hours is recommended to avoid crowds.
