Synagogue in Novi Sad

Synagogue in Novi Sad

The Novi Sad Synagogue was built at the beginning of the 20th century, designed by architect Lipót Baumhorn. The complex on Jevrejska Street was shaped in a style characteristic of Central European architecture of that period, with a large central dome as its dominant element. The synagogue is an important part of the Jewish heritage of Novi Sad, and the space is also used for concerts and cultural programs.
