Spile Center

The central part of modern Himara brings together cafes, restaurants, and a seaside promenade — the main hub of the city's social life. During summer evenings, both locals and visitors gather here, with music from beach bars, children playing on the promenade, and couples enjoying the sunset over the bay. Restaurants along the waterfront offer fresh fish and local Albanian dishes (tave Himara, pies, baklava). Spile Beach (pebbly) continues along the shore, and the waters are exceptionally clean — frequently awarded the Blue Flag. An ideal part of the city for a first visit — major bus lines terminate here, and there are banks, shops, and all services for tourists.
