One of the best-preserved ancient stadiums in Greece, located at the top of the hill above the main archaeological site. It was used for athletic competitions during the Pythian Games, which ranked second in importance only to the Olympic Games. Its capacity was approximately 6,500 spectators, and the marble tiers on the northern side are well preserved.
Entrance is covered by the combined ticket for the site. The stadium is reached by a steep climb of about 15 minutes — comfortable shoes and water are recommended, especially in summer.
