Old Gate (Roman Arch)

The Old Gate, also known as the Roman Arch, is a remnant of the late antique complex of Tarsatica, a Roman settlement on the site of present-day Rijeka. Although long considered a Roman triumphal arch, research connects it to the monumental entrance of a late Roman military complex. It is located within the old city center, a few minutes' walk from the Korzo.
