Old Town Krk (city walls)

A compact old town surrounded by Roman and Venetian walls, from which three original defensive towers have been preserved. Narrow cobblestone streets conceal the ancient rectangular layout of Roman Currictum, while the walls are partially walkable and offer views over the town harbor. The town has been continuously inhabited from antiquity to the present day.
