Primošten Old Town

Primošten Old Town

A compact peninsula with stone houses, narrow cobblestone streets, and the Church of St. George atop a small hill, it was once a true island connected to the mainland only in the 16th century. A walk through the old town takes just about twenty minutes, yet every street offers views of the sea on both sides. The Church of St. George dates from the 15th century and dominates the town's skyline.
