Stari Most

A symbol of Mostar and one of the most famous examples of Ottoman architecture in the Balkans. The 16th-century stone bridge connects the two banks of the Neretva river and has been the heart of the city for centuries. During the summer months, visitors can watch the traditional dives of Mostar's divers into the cold river below, a custom that has become the hallmark of Mostar.
