A traditional stone village on the slopes of Mount Olympus, known for its well-preserved Macedonian architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, and panoramic views of the Thermaic Gulf. Once nearly abandoned, it is today one of the most beautiful historic villages in northern Greece, with taverns, craft shops, and an authentic atmosphere.
The old village of Panteleimon is freely accessible and free to visit. A daytime visit is recommended due to the narrow mountain roads leading to the village.
