Stradun

Stradun

The main street of Dubrovnik's old town, approximately 300 meters long, paved with gleaming limestone. It was formed in the 11th century by filling in the canal that separated the island settlement of Ragusa from the Slavic settlement of Dubrava on the mainland. Surrounded by baroque palaces, churches and cafes, it represents the heart of the city's social life.
