Stubnerkogel and the Suspension Bridge

A summit above Bad Gastein, reached by a cable car from the town. At 2,300 metres, a 140-metre suspension bridge is stretched across a gorge — the highest-placed suspension bridge in Europe. The crossing is not for those afraid of heights, but the railing is solid and the walkway is wide; from the middle you can see the ridge of the High Tauern.
