Stufels

Stufels is the oldest part of Bressanone, situated on a small hill on the far side of the Isarco river, where archaeologists have uncovered traces of a settlement far older than the city itself. Narrow streets, old houses and small squares make it quieter than the centre, and it can be reached on foot via a bridge in just a few minutes. It is an excellent spot for a walk away from the main tourist routes.
