A modern 5 km coastal promenade stretching from the White Tower to the Megaron concert hall, connecting the city centre with the Thermaic Gulf. The waterfront is divided into themed zones (sculpture parks, green oases, children's playgrounds) and is popular for walking, cycling, jogging and watching sunsets over the Thermaic Gulf. Ideal in the early evening when the city unwinds from the summer heat and locals gather by the sea. Bicycle rentals are available at multiple points along the promenade.
The Thessaloniki waterfront is a public promenade accessible to everyone without a ticket. It stretches along the seafront and is ideal for a walk at any time of day.
