The largest and most beautiful city park in Ljubljana, covering around 5 km² immediately adjacent to the city center. Neat tree-lined alleys, fountains, the Jakopičevo promenade with occasional photography exhibitions, and Tivoli Castle make it a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. The park is also an excellent starting point for hiking up the nearby Rožnik hill.
Free admission throughout the day. Tivoli Castle (International Centre of Graphic Arts) occasionally charges admission for special exhibitions — check the schedule in advance.
