Reopened in 2018 after a 26-year pause, the cable car takes just 9 minutes to travel from the city center to the top of Trebević, where the entire city of Sarajevo can be seen nestled in its valley. From the upper station, a short walk leads to the abandoned Olympic bobsled track from 1984 — a concrete channel running through the forest, covered in war damage and street art, and one of the best photo spots in the city. A return ticket costs 7 euros.
The ticket includes a cable car ride in both directions to the top of Trebević. Arriving earlier is recommended on weekends due to crowds.
