Tartini Square

The main square of Piran, named after the famous violinist Giuseppe Tartini, whose bronze statue dominates its center. The former town harbor was gradually filled in over time and transformed into a spacious square surrounded by Venetian palaces, historic buildings, and cafés. Today it serves as the central gathering place and one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.
