Trsat Castle

A fortress standing 138 meters above sea level over the Rječina canyon, with roots dating back to Roman times, while its current appearance originates from the 13th century. It offers a panoramic view of Kvarner Bay, Rijeka, and the surrounding islands, and within its walls there is a summer pavilion and occasional cultural events.

The ticket covers access to the interior of the fortress. The fortress is reached on foot via stairs through Trsat (approximately 560 steps) or by car. Recommended for sunset viewing.
