A British fortress built in the early 19th century on a hill above the town of Vis, during the Napoleonic Wars. It offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Bay of Vis and the surrounding islands. Today it is arranged as a cultural and entertainment space with an amphitheater.
Access to the fortress is free and open during the day. A walking trail leads to it from the center of Vis (about 20 minutes on foot). An ideal spot for sunset.
