Mirabela Fortress (Peovica)

A medieval fortress built on a steep rock above Omiš, reached by a short but demanding hiking trail through the old town center. From its walls, visitors can enjoy views of the Cetina river mouth, the rooftops of the old town, and the Adriatic Sea. During the Middle Ages, it served as a key watchtower for the Omiš pirates, who used it to control access to the town and the maritime routes.
