Fortress of St. Cross

The fortress on the hill above Perast offers one of the most beautiful views of the bay, the town, and the islands off the coast. Once part of the Venetian defense system, it is today a peaceful spot reached by a short uphill walk through the old part of town. Due to the smaller number of visitors, it often gives you the feeling of taking in the entire Boka landscape without crowds or noise.
