Bijeca Cove and Roman Villa

On the shore of Bijeca Cove lie the remains of a Roman villa rustica from the 1st century, one of the better preserved on the Istrian peninsula. Mosaic floors and walls are partially visible, and the site is accessible on foot along the coast. The combination of Roman remains and a tranquil cove makes it an interesting destination for visitors with an interest in ancient Istria.
