An imposing 16th-century palace of the Knights of St. John, once the seat of the Grand Masters, today the home of the Maltese president. Visitors are drawn to the Armoury, which houses one of the richest collections of Renaissance weapons and armor in Europe. The State Rooms are decorated with frescoes and tapestries.
The ticket covers a visit to the Armoury and the State Rooms. Part of the palace is closed when an official function is taking place. Purchasing tickets in advance on the official Heritage Malta website is recommended.
