Vernazza — harbor and Doria Fortress

One of the most famous villages of Cinque Terre, with a natural harbour surrounded by rocks and Piazza Marconi square right by the sea. The Doria Fortress from the 11th century dominates the village and offers a panoramic viewpoint over the entire archipelago. The Gothic church Santa Margherita d'Antiochia stands right on the water's edge.
