Anemomilos Windmill

Anemomilos is a stone windmill from the 19th century located on top of the small Garitsa peninsula, southeast of the old town of Corfu. Although the windmill itself is no longer active, the spot has become one of the most popular viewpoints on Corfu — from here you can enjoy views of the Ionian Sea, Garitsa Bay, and the coastline of the old town. A pleasant walk along the sea from the direction of Garitsa leads up to the windmill, and a visit can easily be combined with a trip to Mon Repos and Kanoni.
