A Venetian fortress from 1485 perched on a hill above the harbor — a steep ten-minute walk from the old town rewards visitors with views of the Pelješac Channel, the small island of Badija with its Franciscan monastery, and the Pelješac peninsula. Arriving before sunset offers the clearest light for photography.
