Villa Angiolina and Park

Villa Angiolina and Park

This classicist villa, built in 1844, is considered the birthplace of tourism in Opatija — it was here that the first aristocratic guests stayed. It is surrounded by a botanical park featuring exotic tree species brought by ship owners from distant voyages. The villa today houses the Croatian Museum of Tourism.
