Villa San Michele (Anacapri)

Villa of the Swedish physician and writer Axel Munthe, located in Anacapri on the site of a former Roman villa. The gardens, ancient sculptures, and terrace with the famous sphinx offer a panoramic view of the Bay of Naples and the island of Capri. Today the villa has been converted into a museum preserving the original furniture, works of art, and personal belongings of its former owner.
