Zagreb Cathedral

Zagreb Cathedral

A Neo-Gothic cathedral on Kaptol, with two slender towers visible from across the entire city, it is the tallest building in Croatia and the main symbol of Zagreb. Dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, it houses valuable altars, a treasury, and the tombs of great Croatian figures. For centuries it has been the spiritual heart of the city, rebuilt after earthquakes and fires.
