About 200 meters above the city center, a 20-minute walk up a steep path. Entrance costs 4 euros, and inside the walls you will find an active settlement — family homes, children playing in the streets, the occasional chicken. From the plateau the view takes in both quarters, the Osum river, and Mount Tomorr in the background. Come before noon or after 4pm — midday sun is intense and there is no shade.
Entry to the castle includes free access to the fortress and churches within the walls. A morning visit is recommended for better light and smaller crowds.
