Castillo de Santa Bárbara

One of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain, situated on top of Mount Benacantil above Alicante. It dates back to the 9th century and today offers a panoramic view of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. The fortress also houses the Museum of the City of Alicante.
