The Tampa Cable Car connects the center of Brașov with the summit of Mount Tampa, which rises above the city. The ride takes only a few minutes, and at the top visitors are greeted by observation points with panoramic views of the historic center, the surrounding hills, and the Carpathians. Nearby stands the recognizable 'BRAȘOV' letters, placed on the hillside in the style of the famous Hollywood sign. This is one of the most popular spots for photography and enjoying the view of the city.
The ticket is purchased at the station at the base, near the entrance to the Old Town. The cable car does not operate in strong winds. It is recommended to check the operating hours before departure.
