Tampa Cable Car

The Tampa Cable Car connects the center of Brașov with the summit of Mount Tampa, which rises above the city. The ride takes just a few minutes, and at the top visitors are greeted by viewpoints offering panoramic views of the historic center, the surrounding hills, and the Carpathians. Nearby, the iconic 'BRAȘOV' letters can be found, mounted on the hillside in the style of the Hollywood sign. It is a popular spot for photography and taking in views of the city.

The ticket is purchased at the station at the base, near the entrance to the Old Town. The cable car does not operate in strong winds. It is recommended to check the operating hours before departure.
