One of the oldest active salt mines in the world, in operation since the 13th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An underground labyrinth of corridors, chapels carved in salt (including the impressive Chapel of Saint Kinga), lakes and sculptures at depths of up to 135 meters. The temperature in the mine is a constant 14°C throughout the year.
