A Neo-Gothic building from 1904, one of the largest parliamentary buildings in the world and a symbol of Budapest. Located on the banks of the Danube, it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the river panorama. The interior is adorned with the Holy Crown of Hungary and rich decoration.
Visits are only possible with a guide as part of organized tours that depart every 30 minutes. Buying tickets in advance online is recommended as they sell out quickly, especially during peak season.
