A Gothic church from the 16th century, built as a mausoleum for Emperor Maximilian I, whose richly decorated cenotaph stands at the center of the church. Surrounding the sarcophagus are 28 monumental bronze statues of historical and mythological figures, known as the 'black knights'. It is considered one of the most important Renaissance monuments north of the Alps.
