The oldest bridge in Florence, built in 1345. Unique for the shops (goldsmiths and jewelers) built directly along its sides. Above the bridge runs the Vasari Corridor, connecting Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti.
The bridge is public and free to cross 24/7. Best photos at dawn or sunset. Gold shops are open 9 AM-7 PM.
