A Gothic basilica from the 14th century, dominating the Main Square in Kraków, known for the magnificent wooden altar by Veit Stoss from the 15th century. Every hour, a trumpeter from the tower plays the Hejnał — a traditional melody passed down through the centuries. The interior is adorned with rich frescoes and stained glass windows.
Tourist entry is only possible during certain time intervals (not during masses). The ticket is purchased at the cash desk near the side entrance. It is recommended to arrive before opening or early in the morning due to crowds.
