A Renaissance castle built between 1606 and 1624 at the order of King Christian IV, surrounded by beautiful baroque gardens. The castle houses the Danish Crown Jewels and regalia, as well as a rich collection of artistic objects belonging to the Danish royal family. It is one of the most visited castles in Denmark.
The ticket includes access to the castle and the permanent exhibition with the royal jewels. The gardens surrounding the castle (Kongens Have) are free and open to the public. Purchasing tickets online is recommended to skip the queue.
