The largest Franciscan church in the world, built in the 13th century, known as the 'temple of Italian glory'. It houses the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Dante. The interior is adorned with a rich collection of frescoes and sculptures.
The ticket includes a visit to the church, the crypt, and the museum adjacent to the church. Purchasing tickets online in advance is recommended to avoid queues. Open daily except Sunday mornings, which are reserved for masses.
