Everything you need for Ravello in one place
A 13th-century villa with a tower and gardens that inspired Richard Wagner to create Klingsor's garden in the opera Parsifal. During the summer, the Ravello Festival is held here, with concerts on a terrace overlooking the sea. The view of the Amalfi Coast from the gardens is one of the most celebrated in Ravello.
A 19th-century villa known for its gardens that culminate in the Terrazza dell'Infinito, a belvedere featuring a row of marble busts and views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. Greta Garbo stayed here in 1938, away from the public eye. The gardens are adorned with fountains, pavilions, and Mediterranean vegetation.
The cathedral dedicated to Saint Pantaleon was founded in 1086 and preserves his relics. Particularly notable are two 12th-century marble ambos decorated with mosaics and bronze doors from 1179 featuring reliefs of biblical scenes. The complex also includes a museum housing ecclesiastical silverware and archaeological findings.
Positano is known for its steep streets that descend between colorful houses down to the Spiaggia Grande beach.
