Verona

Verona is a historic city in northern Italy, known for the Roman Arena, the medieval palaces of the Scaligeri family, and a well-preserved old town center listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although it is associated worldwide with the story of Romeo and Juliet, Verona offers much more than literary romance — from Roman monuments and squares to bridges and walks along the Adige River. Due to its combination of history, architecture, and culture, it is one of the most visited cities in northern Italy.
