One of the best-preserved ancient theaters in Greece and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located within the archaeological site of Asklepion, a former center dedicated to the god of medicine Asclepius. It is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and capacity of approximately 14,000 spectators, and during the summer it hosts performances as part of the Epidaurus Festival.
