One of the best-preserved Byzantine monasteries in Greece, featuring 11th-century mosaics, located about two and a half hours north of Mystras on the way to Delphi. Entrance is free, and the mosaics inside the church are among the rare surviving examples of Byzantine art from that period. It can be combined with a short detour through Delphi before returning.
