A medieval bell tower from the 13th century standing 83 meters tall, dominating the market square and serving as a symbol of the city. From the top, a panoramic view stretches across all of Bruges and the surrounding area. It houses a carillon of 47 bells and a varied exhibition on the history of city governance.
Entry includes climbing 366 steps to the top. Arriving in the morning is recommended to avoid crowds, as the number of visitors is limited. Tickets available on-site or online.
