Everything you need for Pisa in one place
A Romanesque cathedral bell tower from the 12th century, known for its visible tilt of around 4 degrees caused by soft ground. Climbing to the top (294 steps) offers a view of Piazza dei Miracoli and the city. Entry is time-limited and often requires advance booking.
A Romanesque cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, whose construction began in 1063 — one of the first examples of the Pisan Romanesque style that influenced all of Tuscany. The interior is adorned by Galileo's chandelier and Giovanni Pisano's pulpit. Entry with a ticket for the other monuments on the square is free.
The Square of Miracles encompasses the cathedral, the leaning tower, the baptistery, and the Camposanto, which together form a UNESCO-protected complex of medieval architecture. The vast lawn allows a view of the entire ensemble without entering the individual buildings.
